L.E.A.N provides mentorship and empowerment platforms and programs for young and old women in South Africa. We serve a diverse group of women, and link them to mentors / speakers for motivation and leadership.
The platforms and programs are open to women from all walks of life. The youth and mentors also represent a myriad of business, fashion, abuse, family, sexual orientation, religious, political, and educational backgrounds.
Each year we aim to serve girls and women; and we impact women and the community members to realize their true potentials in life.
L.E.A.N is a platform / programs born out of the enthusiasm and demand of young women, that our founder Mrs Dee Maepa put it to herself to create the program that could reach women so that they could reach their true purpose by helping them discover their passions.
Mrs Dee Maepa hosted the first L.E.A.N event Passion 2 Purpose in August 2014 and created a leadership platform that inspired those who attended and others asking for another session. In 2014 it was so successful that the women, and speakers who participated in the event felt that it was a great platform and that such should be done more often. The programs also offer opportunities to young Entrepreneurs to have pop up stalls and expose their products to a different market.
Mrs Dee Maepa is committed to insuring that L.E.A.N is available for young and old women for years to come. She is actively seeking new ways so that she can create a more exciting platform for the events
The Program functions under the generous fiscal sponsorship of Partners and investors who believe in such a platform that can build the economy of South Africa.
We aim to collaborate with other organisations that have the same goals as L.E.A.N and many other reputable organizations to serve their women and girls. The demand for our programs comes primarily from the participants. We are a feedback-based program and we shape our events around the needs and interest of the women and girls we are reaching out too.
